Empowering Young Politicians Program is Starting!

We are excited to announce the launch of the Empowering Young Politicians Program, which we have initiated to support young politicians to strengthen their role in their parties and to take on more important positions.

The program, designed for youth aged 18-30 who are actively engaged in political parties, will include 12 sessions covering diverse topics such as youth sociology, human rights, civic and political activism, media and communication strategy, discourse development and financial resource management. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet experienced politicians, public opinion researchers, academics, and journalists through regular networking events and workshops.

Starting in February, the program will run until June 2026, and 20 participants who complete the program will receive campaign support from the Arayüz Campaign and selected experts if they decide to run in the next elections.

Participation Criteria

• Be an active member of a political party.
• Be aged between 18-30.

Why Support Young People in Political Parties?

We aim to equip young politicians to become effective and competent representatives capable of driving change within political parties. Empowering young politicians is essential for identifying youth issues, creating impactful policies, and ensuring equitable representation. A stronger presence of young people in politics can trigger transformative change that benefits not only the youth but society as a whole, paving the way for a dynamic, inclusive, and innovative political landscape.

Is Full Attendance Required?
Participants will need to confirm their attendance for each session, but once accepted, they will not need to reapply for subsequent sessions.

Are the Trainings In-Person?
Yes, all sessions and workshops will be held in person to foster connections among participants and provide a more engaging environment with the trainers.

Will Certificates Be Provided?
Participants who complete all sessions will receive a certificate issued by the Arayüz Campaign.

Can I Join If I’m Outside Istanbul?
Unfortunately, this program is only open to young people residing in Istanbul.
