Arayuz Campaign Meets with Youth Organization in Germany!

Representing the Arayuz Campaign, our Campaign Director Nevzat Taşcı and Communication Director Serra Semiz were in Germany for a series of meetings between October 9-13.

A meeting was held with SPD deputy Gülistan Yüksel at the German Parliament on the political participation and representation of young people migrating from Turkey to Germany. Our directors also visited the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Foundation Headquarters and discussed the relationship between migration, discrimination and youth.

As part of this visit, a meeting was held with JUSOS at the SPD Headquarters. JUSOS is a youth organization of the German social democratic party SPD. However, due to the different structures of the party and youth organizations in Germany, it also acts independently. In this context, our directors had a meeting with Birkan Görer, Vice President of JUSOS, to exchange experiences, discuss problems related to youth representation and design collaborative projects.
