Evaluation of the Ministry of Youth and Sports’ 2026 Budget

The Central Government Budget Bill is debated and adopted each year in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). This process determines which resources will finance—and how—the activities and projects that all public administrations and institutions will carry out in the following year. Transparent scrutiny of the budget and the public dissemination of findings are important for citizens’ right to information.

As the Arayüz Campaign, we evaluate the budget of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (GSB) for young people, youth workers, and all relevant stakeholders, and we present the results to the public. This document sets out the programs announced under the Ministry’s budget, the appropriations for these programs, their targets, and the execution/performance in previous years. It also includes our assessments and inferences regarding the Ministry’s budget.
